In my story, red eyes are only inherited by Vampire clan. It's known to be popular amongst other creature, because Vampire is a noble, loyal, powerful clan of Mystic world. Their price are so high since it's hard to take out from their place, yes- the Vampires. And the one risk life for them, is the hunter. With their crossbow and holy water, they will always hunt them in the name of Goddess.
